Amidst the excitement surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S24 and OnePlus 12 in the Android world, Google has made a noteworthy announcement introducing significant updates to the Pixel 8 series.

The primary update centers around a fresh Mint color option, now accessible for both the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. Described as a soothing mint shade, it strikes a balance between vibrancy and subtlety, making it a compelling choice and possibly one of the most appealing Pixel colors in recent times.

Starting January 25, Mint is officially available for both Pixel 8 models, but there are specific conditions associated with this color variant. It can only be acquired through the Google Store and Google Fi. Moreover, if opting for the Mint Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, the available storage configuration is limited to 128GB.

The addition of a new color isn’t the sole highlight for Pixel 8 users, as Google has initiated the rollout of its January 2024 Feature Drop, bringing forth four significant updates.
