According to Capital FM, the woman was rushed to the Mother and Child Care Hospital on Yusuf Haji Road, where she died from stab wounds to the chest. According to the police report, the circumstances were unclear and the deceased was alone inside her home with her alleged friend when the fight started. The attacker, known to his family, fled the scene, leading authorities to pursue his whereabouts relentlessly.
The body was taken to the mortuary for autopsy. Her death comes amid calls from policymakers and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to end mass attacks on women. Since the first week of January, nearly 10 women have tragically died under mysterious circumstances.
