The Israeli military has released footage of what it says is the first sighting of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar moving through a Gaza tunnel. Hostage deal talks, meanwhile, have collapsed. This was after a new video appearing to show an Israeli hostage held in Gaza has emerged online.
The video was released on the official Telegram channel linked to the military wing of Hamas, the Al Qassam Brigades.
The Israel military’s spokesperson, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, declined to comment on the video when asked at a briefing on Friday evening.
